What needed
solving
A Romanian SaaS company was paying a junior analyst 20 hours per week to manually track 8 competitors: monitoring pricing pages, feature announcements, job postings, review scores, and social media for signals of strategic change. The report was inconsistent in depth, prone to delays, and the analyst's time was increasingly being viewed as an inefficient use of human capital. Leadership wanted competitive intelligence delivered faster and more consistently.
What we built
We built MarketPulse, an automated competitor intelligence pipeline. Every Monday at 5AM, the system scrapes pricing pages, G2 and Capterra review scores, LinkedIn job postings, and blog RSS feeds for each of the 8 tracked competitors. Changes since the previous week are detected and categorised (pricing change, new feature, hiring signal, reputation shift). An AI model writes a concise analysis of the week's competitive landscape. A formatted PDF report is generated and emailed to the leadership team before 8AM.
