What needed
solving
A Dubai property management company was maintaining listings across Bayut, PropertyFinder, Dubizzle, Houza, JustProperty, and their own website — six separate platforms each requiring manual updates whenever a price, availability status, or description changed. An average of 15 updates per day was taking a full-time staff member 3+ hours to execute, and despite the effort, listing inconsistencies were constant — confusing buyers and generating complaints.
What we built
We built a listing syndication layer on top of the company's property management database. Any change in the master record — price update, status change, new photo, description edit — triggers an automated push to all six portals via their respective APIs. Failed syncs are retried with exponential backoff and flagged in a Slack alert if unresolved after 3 attempts. The team now maintains one record; all portals update in under 60 seconds.
