The challenge

What needed
solving

GreenField Farms had no automated monitoring for their 8 crop zones. Soil moisture failures, frost events, and pest pressure were identified through manual field walks — too late to prevent damage in two out of three cases.

The solution

What we built

We deployed sensor nodes across all zones connected via MQTT to a Python-based monitoring engine. Alerts go out via SMS within minutes of any anomaly. The system also pulls OpenWeather forecasts to flag risk windows 24 hours in advance.
