SkyRoute
Flight operations, Dubai
What needed
solving
A Dubai flight operations company managing a mixed charter and cargo fleet had no integrated operations system. Crew scheduling was managed in a shared spreadsheet, maintenance records lived in a separate system with no link to scheduling, compliance certificate expiry was tracked in a third Excel file, and client trip confirmations were sent manually by the ops team. The lack of integration meant crew were occasionally assigned to aircraft they were not qualified to operate, and one near-miss on a compliance certificate had triggered an internal review.
What we built
We built SkyRoute, a bespoke flight operations platform. The system maintains crew profiles with qualification matrices and automatically validates crew-aircraft assignment. Maintenance schedules are linked to aircraft availability, blocking scheduling when an aircraft is due for service. A compliance calendar tracks all certificate and licence expiry dates with automated renewal reminders. Client itineraries, crew briefings, and ground handler notifications are generated and sent automatically at each workflow stage.
